At Blackwater Bay Tours, we are always committed to conscientious enjoyment of our waterways and wildernesses. To that end, we support efforts to protect these resources so we all can enjoy them for years to come.
Blackwater Bay
We are very concerned about the declining water quality in Blackwater Bay.
Despite efforts to improve the water quality of the bay, we have seen growing closures to shellfish harvesting as a result of the increased presence of pollutants.
We need answers as to why this is happening and what is being done to prevent the continuing expansion of closed areas.
We’d like to see the prohibited areas shrinking - not growing.
